One day I was passing the time relaxing on a large rock formation beside a lake, and saw a nicely shaped lonely cloud. I wanted to photograph it before it was blown away, but also saw a couple of reeds uniquely standing out above the rest. Taking a risk, I lowered myself onto a slippery rock surrounded by the mud.
The photo composition I shot causes me to picture the reeds as spikes holding up a delicate ball, while the two individual reeds intersecting at a point in the center of the cloud form a clock face. Time is delicate and precious in life. It should not be taken for granted. Otherwise it may spin out of control and escape your grasp just as the circular cloud is beginning to dissappear at what would be a couple of hours before noon on the face of its clock.
