I call this symbol the "Sling-Yang" because it depicts two opposing sides swirling in turbulence much like the ancient "Ying-Yang" symbol. However, here the two sides are split apart by the icon of a sling, which was a spun projectile weapon from Biblical times used in battle by the boy David to bring down the giant Goliath. In turn, the eclipse shadowing both sides is pierced by the the sling to reveal the enlightening vision beyond within the eye of the storm.

In my own experience of coming into adulthood I actually caused some trouble by shattering some windows with the use of a modern day sling-shot. I was caught, but was given the opportunity to redeem myself by working at the business where I caused the damages until everything was paid off. After the debt was settled though, the owner was so impressed with my work he offered me what became my first job as a teenager. I created this "Sling-Yang" symbol for it to contain a great amount of meaning to me. Within that meaning it clearly represents my journey toward thoughtfulness and good work. This is why it became the MoonShine Graffx logo.
