When presenting gifts to family and loved ones I appreciate the thought behind gift giving more than the value of a gift. When time allows I obtain great pleasure in designing and creating custom packaging for the gifts I present. Each Christmas usually brings a challenge to conceive something new and surprising.

In 2003 I encased the Christmas presents I gave to my family inside oversized faux ornament balls. The balls were made from reflective plastic domes, which were joined as pairs by weaving them together with decorative ribbon or cord through sixteen punched holes along their edges. The ends of the ribbon or cord were bow-tied to form each ornament's hanging loop, and a decorative name tag was slid on as an ornament cap.
