A gift to my own mother for her birthday, this silver chain link bracelet I designed was inspired by the chainmail armor worn by knights in medieval times. I wanted to create a beautiful yet tasteful piece of jewelry, which represented how much I cherish my mother and want to keep her safe.

The bracelet was presented in a custom cylindrical acrylic case I also created. It is not shown, but it consisted of frosted transluscent short tubes each capped on one end by mirrored discs. The tubes slid one over the other and remained closed by the friction of a black brushed fabric inner lining. When the reflective caps were twisted apart they revealed the clasped bracelet wrapped around the inside tube.
