"Cranksgiving" is actually an annual charity event I created and have organized on my own in New York City for eight years from 1999 to 2006. It involves bringing the bicycle messenger community together each year on the Saturday before Thanksgiving to compete in a friendly race. During the race couriers route themselves to different supermarkets and buy individual items of food, then at the end of the race all the food is donated to a local food pantry for those less fortunate to have over the Thanksgiving holiday.

The production of every race involved the creation of numerous racer-numbered spoke cards, manifest pouches, and promotional flyers & posters. I have created a Cranksgiving web site to showcase all of the previously mentioned items along with photos of the event taken by various people. Please note: Following the Cranksgiving link will bring up a seperate independent web site, which might require the use of your browser's back button if you wish to return here.
