These logo designs were created as part of my work for the 2003 Body Glove Messenger Challenge. Body Glove's actual logo is a full fingered glove surrounded by an oval outline, which I evolved to form the concept for the Body Glove Messenger Challenge logo. The final design incorporated a bicycle wheel as the oval with a half-fingered glove because fingerless gloves are much more common among cyclists. Along with an enhanced version with detailed illustrated backgrounds by Gregory Ugalde, the design was used in promotions for the event within the messenger community.

BGMC background info:

In 2003 Fellowes Inc. launched a new line of accessories for technological gadgets, which were sold under the Body Glove sport clothing brand name. Fellowes approached a small number of well respected New York City couriers to assist them in organizing a publicity event associated with their product launch. I was part of the five member team, who coordinated a race out of Union Square Park called the "Body Glove Messenger Challenge" on October 7th, 2003. During the event 60 bike messengers competed in the streets of New York while being dispatched in real time to simulate an average work day. All the racers were equipped with Body Glove accessories and wearing the same Body Glove cycling jersey to promote the launching of the new product line. The promotion concept was to publicly demonstrate the campaign's "Go with it" slogan by obviously using bicycle couriers.
